Magnolia Avenue Block Association


The Magnolia Avenue Block Association was established in September 1999, and incorporated in the Great State of New Jersey as a Social Non-Profit Organization, February 25, 2003. The Magnolia Avenue Block Association, Inc. was declared Tax Exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501 ( c ) ( 4 ) of the Internal Revenue Code, September 3, 2004. We take great pride in our ability to promote social welfare of residents of Magnolia Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey by improving living conditions and business opportunities for residents, by seeking community improvements, including but not limited to improvements in infrastructure, policing, sanitation and other public services.

The Magnolia Avenue Block Association, Inc. is organized exclusively for social welfare purposes. We endeavor to promote social welfare by creating a dialogue among residents and businesses of Journal Square, Magnolia Avenue and local authorities in order to develop solutions to common problems and concerns affecting Magnolia Avenue, and the Journal Square Neighborhood.
