The City of Jersey City will plant a tree in your sidewalk for only $100. That includes cutting the hole in the concrete and planting a 3"-3.5" tree of your choice. What do you have to do to have a tree planted in your sidewalk? Just fill out the simple application and send it to the city BY FRIDAY NOV 5th along with a check for $100.
