THE EYESORE IS GONE...ALLILUIA...WHAT IS NEXT

It is a great thing to see a big problem in Journal Square gone...I am wondering what will be next when the new two towers are erected...I hope the city official make the future tenancy regulations and the rules for this project available to the public. The public need to know how affordable these units are and weather a family with average income can afford to rent any of these units. Also, it should be a provision in the City contract with the developer to give the tenancy priority to the original Jersey City residents. I am outrageous by the fact that the Jersey City tax payers will cover for tha tax abatment to this project and will end up with empty hands because the big fat cats of New York City and wall street will cross the borders to cash in on the opportunity. Do not be fooled by the expression "The Market Value". The big fish in our society always eat the small ones and unfortunately the trend is encouraged by the elected officials. If the New Yorkers want to Live in these new building , let them pay the City their percentage of the general taxes, and the tax abatment for this project. We do not want another downtown senrio in Journal Square. Enough is Enough.
